How does the forum works at Steffi's Cloud

Not sure if you like to sign up to the forum of the own privat cloud? But if you have questions and we will find answers within the forum. I get asked over and over again how the forum works and what you can expect. In this article I will answer the most FAQs.

The forum is for my readers to discuss their ideas, thoughts share their workflows and setups. Further to this, you will find answers to your questions without searaching the Internet for hours. You can discuss articles, posts, comment on posts within the forum

It is a place their respect and diginity are current standard. It is not a forum for politcal motivated posts, hate or other controverse themes.

If you need help, support, want to discuss themes and do not want to search the Internet for hours, the forum of Steffi's Cloud is right for you.

Here a couple of answer to the most frequent asked questions:

No, you will not. If you need support or a coaching please got to my shop. The forum is not commercialised and there will be no ads vor services or commercial items of Steffi's Cloud.

Is the forum free of charge?

Yes, it is free of charge. Same applies for my support within.

You can sign up at the forum page there you will find a link to register. Before you can register you need to accept the code that governs the forum.

After this you will receive an email with the activation link for your account. Confirm the link in the email and you are good to go. (double Opt-In-Methode)

What can I do within the forum?

You can create new posts with your questions and ideas. You can also comment on other posts. For the first couple of posts your postings need to be revised by me and then they get activated. This ensures the quality of the forum. After a couple of posts the monitoring will stop and you are free to post your ideas, comments, setups etc.

How secure is the forum?

You can decide on the security measure of your account. You got the following possibilities:

with a strong password and optional with
2-factor-authentication by email or smartphone.

You can setup your security under Manage your account -> Security

Please be aware that the information of the 2-factor-authorisation are private to you. So, I cannot set back the 2-factor-authentication for you.

Please keep the information on a save place.

What can I adjust on my user account?

It is your decission what other members of the community will see from your profile. You can adjust the settings accordingly. Moreover, you got under Manage my account -> Settings and Privacy several options:

You can adjust:

Your language
Language of the content (the forum is bi-lingual)
Change of style ie dark mode
What other members can see .

Under Privacy you can adjust what other members will see from your profile:

Further to this, you can see which users you are follow and you can block users to send you any notifications. Before blocking users, please let me the user name know. May be I can speak to this user what he should behave correctly.

What about data protection?

Surely, my privacy policy applies also the forum. You can read it here. Further to this, if you like to know which data I got from you, you can initiate an export of your data. Press the button Request data export and an email with the security code is sent to you. You will find this option in Manage my account -> Privacy Protection ->Export personal data:

I do not like to participate anymore. How do I delete my account?

I am very sad, that you are leaving! You can do this under Manage my Account -> Account Management. There will be a couple of days before your account is deleted. The date of deletion will be displayed in your account. You can reverse your decision up to that date by clicking again on the button.
