Endlich ist es soweit

Es hat ja lange genug gedauert aber das Warten hat endlich ein Ende und SteffisCloud ist endlich wieder da.

Update: Wichtige Information: BusyContacts

Die schlechte Nachricht von BusyMac als Erstes:

Wenn Du BusyContacts über den AppStore bezogen hattest, wirst Du demnächst keine Updates mehr erhalten.


Warum?


Weil sich die Regeln mal wieder geändert haben und Entwickler wieder vor Herausforderung stellen.


Mit der neuesten Regelung, dürfen Apps keinen direkten Zugriff auf Funktionen wie Nachrichten und Mail haben.


Aber BusyContacts ist ja dafür gedacht, dass Du Deine Kontakte samt den Nachrichten und E-Mails in einer Applikation sehen kannst.

Enpass: Upgrade 6.0.0 - Nicht das dies Dir auch passiert

Enpass hat am 29.12.2018 ein neues Upgrade herausgebracht, welches wirklich coole Funktionen beherbergt, sowie ein schickes neues Design.

Heute möchte ich den Paperless Pioneers die Sicherheit in der Eigenen Cloud näher bringen.


Darunter auch Strategien zum Backup, die jeder bewerkstelligen kann, sowie die Geheimhaltung von Informationen zum Zugriff auf Deine Eigene Cloud.


Aber nicht nur dies, sondern auch was es mit DNS und Freigabe auf sich hat, Firewalls, Benutzernamen und Kennwörter, sowie das man seine Eigene Cloud auch an die Leine nehmen sollte.

Heute geht es um Software in der Eigenen Cloud bei den Paperless Pioneers, welche ich wirklich empfehlen kann und auch hier auf Deinem Blog der Eigenen Cloud veröffentliche.

AirMail: Update 3.2.5 for OS MAC

AirMail has released update  3.2.5 and implemented the DTPO integration!


The biggest news today is AirMail's Update with the integration to DevonThinkProOffice. Now, you can work even smarter with AirMail and DTPO together without going through a folder! AirMail will use x-callback-URL to provide the necessary data. Meaning there is no doubling in emails but a great advantage of searching and manage your data by DTPO.

AirMail: Help! The rules does not work automatically...

Question from Niklas dated on 11 Feb 2017

The automatic rule for my import of emails to DevonThink does not work - I will get an error "not valid rule". Do you have an idea?

If I use the keystroke shortcut it works fine.

Actually, there is an issue but AirMail has applied their own rule that all rules needs to be adapted to older emails too. That's funny but it is the way it is...

If you use before any actions "mark as read" it works then automatically.

News: Enpass - no subscription

I have contacted Enpass and asked if they consider a subscription model too..

No - Enpass will not got for subscription at all!  and all that for EUR 10 for IOS and Desktop version for free! WebDav is included and much more - they not do a trial with the Desktop version?

Yesterday, it was announced that 1Password App changed to a subscription model only!

If you ask yourselves what happen to my current account - when you will have to wait until another announcement is being made. The article about this you can find here: MacLife.

If you ask yourselves what to do now? I recommend Enpass password manager with WebDav, which fits nicely into your own cloud!
